It's so heartbreaking to lose a pet. The grieving process can be long and difficult, and it is important to have the support of family and friends. However, when a bird passes on, the people left behind may face an especially trying grieving process. People who don't have birds don't usually understand how special birds are, and have a hard time sympathizing. That's why Bittybirds has begun an email support group. Our philosophy is that it is healthy to grieve for any beloved pet, and we hope to understand your feelings when others don't. Anyone can join; whether you've lost a bird, a dog, or a frog, you are welcome here.
Q.: What is a listserv? A.: A listserv distributes messages to all the people subscribed to it. So, if you join this listserv, you can send a message, and everyone subscribed to it will read it. Listservs let people have electronic discussions via email, rather than through a web site -- so all the messages sent to the listserv are delivered directly to your email account's inbox.
